Architecture Products

Department of Defense and Ministry of Defense weapons and information technology system procurements require architecture products, either as simple as a High-Level Operational Concept Graphic (OV-1) or as complex as a Systems Data Exchange Matrix (SV-6). The following are descriptions and examples of all of the architecture products required by NR-KPPs, Information Support Plans, JCIDS for JCDs, ICDs, CDDs and CPDs. More in depth explanations are available in the Architecture Framework Version 1.0 - Volume II and on the MODAF's site.

  AV-1 OV-1 OV-2 OV-4 OV-5 OV-6C OV-7 SV-1 SV-4 SV-5 SV-6 SV-11 TV-1 TV-2
JCD* and ICD
CDD and CPD * * *

* This requirement is based on draft documents currently in staffing.

† DODAF recommends a completed OV-3 be used as inputs for the SV-6
